Update

Two of our members, the Beckman sisters, will be leaving the Trio Magnificat. We will complete all currently booked gigs, and then make necessary changes. Please bear with us as our violinist, Benjamin Gulder, searches for the right people to fill the vacancies. 

First Baptist Church, October 14th

We've been asked to play the music for First Baptist Church at their 10:00 AM service on October 14th. If you are coming north on Ashmun, take a right on east 10th avenue and the church will be at the very end of E 10th. We'll be playing prelude and postlude, and accompanying the congregation for the singing of two hymns. Looking forward to it!

September Evening of Music!

Fall is quickly approaching, but has not yet arrived. Though we typically have our fall Evening of Music in autumn weather, it seems we will be playing in the last vestiges of summer! Come and join us at the Central United Methodist Church to hear some great music! This year we have somewhat of a theme in our choice of repertoire, as all the selections played over the course of the evening will sample four different musical eras. We have a few guest performers and a greater variety of instrumentation represented.  In addition to our own personal instrumental combinations, we will feature a extraordinary double flute concerto and a vocal piece. Friday, September 14th at 7:30pm is the date to put on your calendar. It's open to the public; admission is free. You won't want to miss this high class event!

It's Air Time!

Hello music lovers!

Just a quick update to let you all know that on Saturday, July 28th, we will be guests on George Snider's radio show. His show airs from 10:00am to 11:00 am Eastern Standard time on WSOO 1230 here in Sault Ste. Marie. You can look forward to classical, celtic and more. Be sure to tune in!

Merry Christmas!

Well we sure enjoyed playing at our "Evening of Christmas Music" on the 17th! We are grateful to those of you who were able to come out and share the evening with us! We're looking forward to seeing you all again at our spring concert, and we'll continue to keep you informed as to dates and details here on the blog. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you!

Just over a month away!

   Can you believe that Thanksgiving is fast coming upon us? Not to mention Christmas? We are each looking forward to spending time with our families this Thanksgiving and Christmas season! Not surprisingly, we'll be sharing Christmas music with you at the next concert we are playing in. It will be a great evening to spend with the family listening to many familiar Christmas songs, played by a variety of different instrumental arrangements, among which we will be one. Less than 24 hours!
